CAD/Finite Element Open Educational Resources

Open Education Resource (OER) Description:

This course provides practical, hands-on experience with finite element analysis (FEA) using ANSYS APDL and ANSYS Workbench. Students will learn how to apply FEA techniques through step-by-step assignments and video tutorials, covering a range of topics including rigid plate and springs, truss and beam elements, buckling, shell elements, hyperelasticity, dynamic analysis, and optimization techniques. The course focuses on developing proficiency in solving real-world engineering problems using advanced CAD/FEM software.
